Hey!
So summer of 2014 I took a once in a lifetime trip touring the Maritimes solo on my VStar 1100. In a word - amazing! Not the VStar, the vista!
Flip ahead to summer of 2017 and I am at my first Ottawa Singer/Songwriter Camp at Alcorn Music Studios. On the way home from the first day of inspiring creativity, this song found its way into my head. One week later my first original composition (music and lyrics) was born. Along with it, the not-so-crazy idea that I could work my way to a CD of my own compositions..
Well long story short, things got very real this year. Turns out it was not only a good year for Canadian sports (props to Bianca, Brooke and Raptors!) . it was good year for me. A couple of more song songs, some editing and tweaks and into the studio I will go. Stay tuned!

Alors, l'été 2014, je me trouve sur mon VStar 1100 à faire un voyage solo au Maritimes. En un mot - fantastique! Pas le VStar, le vista (la vue)!
Deux ans plus tard me voila à mon premier camp de compositeurs-interprètes d'Ottawa aux Alcorn Music Studio. En rentrant chez moi dès le premier jour de créativité inspirante, cette chanson m’est venue à l’esprit ... une semaine plus tard, ma première composition originale (musique et paroles) était née. Et ça continue - une idée pas si folle me viens à l'esprit. Eh! Je pourrais travailler sur un projet de mes propres compositions.
Et bien, longue histoire courte, cette année le tout est devenue très concrèt. Il s’est avéré que ce n’était pas seulement une bonne année pour les sports canadiens (félicitations Bianca, Brooke et les Raptors!). C'est une bonne année pour moi! Avec une couple de chansons de plus, quelques retouches et quelques ajustements, et j'irais en studio. Restez à l'écoute!
Pour le moment, voici un extrait de moi jouant Maritime Breeze (enregistré aux studios Morning Anthem à Cumberland). Seulement un extrait?! E bien, je dois quand même vous garder en suspens ;)
